Actual output on Lucid A3:

/etc/gdm/Xsession: Beginning session setup...
cat: /etc/X11/Xsession.options: no such file or folder

Initialy reported on 2006-04-28 , it's time to digg it out for LTS !!!!

still this error logged into xsession-errors
/etc/gdm/Xsession: Beginning session setup...
cat: /etc/X11/Xsession.options: no such file

line 166 into /etc/gdm/Xsession:

# run /etc/X11/Xsession.d/
OPTIONFILE=/etc/X11/Xsession.options

this last line give a path that is not existing, Xsession.options dont
exist too

reinstalling x11-common dont help

The bug reporter never answer the question from #2; as that report is
very old, closing it now.
